Trade Waste

​Commercial, industrial, manufacturing or trade businesses that discharge to a council wastewater system are affected by the territorial local authorities Trade Waste Bylaws.
In most cases, businesses will need to obtain a Trade Waste consent or permit. The consent sets out the conditions under which the council accepts the discharge of Trade Waste to the wastewater system.
